The Quick Combined Rate Method

Net = Gross × (1 − total rate)

When you know roughly what share of pay goes to tax and contributions, one multiplication gives the net, and one division reverses it: gross = net ÷ (1 − rate). At 30%, a target of 3,000 net needs about 4,285.71 gross. The exact tools above replace the single rate with real brackets, caps and allowances.
